Recognition GoI/TEC

BNNSpeag has also been recognised by Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) on behalf of GoI as a Conformity Assesment Body (CAB).

With the award of CAB status, BNNSpeag would be authorised to take up SAR measurements on behalf of Government of India as per requirements projected by TEC.

This is significant specifically with regards to the recent promulgation of an amendment to the Indian Telegraph act through Amendment Rules, 2017 which , provides that every telecom equipment must undergo prior mandatory testing and certification. The testing is to be carried out by Indian Accredited Labs and based upon their test reports, certificate shall be issued by TEC

Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) under Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications and IT, Government of India has been appointed as the Designating Authority (DA) on behalf of DoT for Telecom Equipment.
